Things continue to be busy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with this month seeing the Blu-ray and DVD releases of both Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD: Season 1, before SHIELD returns with new episodes on Tuesday, September 23rd. Season 2 will pick up on the heels of the game-changing events that began in The Winter Soldier and continued on the TV series, as Hydra's decades-long infiltration of SHIELD was revealed.
This reveal included the discovery that many SHIELD agents were in fact Hydra and that Hydra was behind many other seemingly unrelated campaigns and enemy forces.
