WWE Network Free for November

The news came out of the WWE's quarterly investors call yesterday that the WWE Network will be available for free during the month of November for all new subscribers - giving those who are curious to check out the streaming site access to all of the programming as well as the upcoming Survivor Series event.

The WWE previously offered up free trial weeks for prospective subscribers, but this time they're going a full month - much like Netflix and Hulu Plus have done previously.

There's also a new "Simplified Price Plan" in place. WWE Network will be available for $9.99 per month with no commitment and the ability to cancel at any time. The way it worked before, those who signed up agreed to a locked six-month subscription with a choice of billing options.

Evolve: How to Dominate as Kraken

Kraken is a very different beast than Goliath. Evolve's Monsters operate in distinct ways, both in terms of how and when they initiate on unsuspecting Hunters, or escape a bad situation, as well as how they adapt to getting caught at inopportune times.

I've only played Kraken a couple times, so I'm not great when it comes to this particular Monster. So I turned to 2K's Scott James to teach me how to annihilate Hunters from above -- something I kept forgetting was even possible, as you'll see in the coaching video above. James' advice will surely give you an edge as you explore the Evolve Big Alpha this weekend, so take a look and try to soak in his knowledge. It'll lead to a lot of dead Hunters, I promise.

Spider-Man Unlimited update weaves in new levels, gains 512 MB support on Windows Phone

Spider-Man Unlimited arrived on mobile back in September. The game instantly webbed me with its great graphics, huge array of collectible characters, and overall excellent use of the Spider-Man license. But I also caught many bugs in my review that I hoped would be fixed before long.

Just in time for Halloween, Gameloft has delivered a major update to Spider-Man Unlimited. The update adds a fourth "issue" to the game's story mode starring the Sandman, a limited time holiday event featuring Jack O'Lantern, and a host of changes and bug fixes. Most importantly for Windows Phone users, it now runs on devices with 512 MB of RAM! Read on for our detailed impressions of the new content and changes!

Samsung pushing out Windows Phone 8.1 Update for more ATIV S users

Last week, we reported how Samsung was slowly trickling out the Windows Phone 8.1 Update (GDR1) for ATIV S users. However, the rollout at the time was limited to just phones with Austrian region branding. Users in our forums detailed how you could do it yourself, however the method was complicated by the sheer amount of ATIV S versions out on the market.

Today, our unbranded UK ATIV S (I8750), without the 8.1 Preview, is finally receiving numerous OS updates and new firmware. Users in our forums are confirming the same for what looks like a wider swath of ATIV S users and more regions.
