This photo was taken from a viewpoint 30 minutes away up from Semuc Champey (the river that hides under the rock) the name was given because under these beautiful turquoise water ponds a strong current river called Cahabon hides at the highest part, flows and appears at the lower part. Semuc Champey is one of the most known paradises of Guatemala, and the water ponds are natural ponds made of limestone and water that flows from the mountain that surround it.
