The Florida Department of Citrus' mascot, Captain Citrus, has been given a superhero makeover by none other than Marvel.
What started out as a meeting to discuss product placement opportunities in Marvel films turned into an opportunity for the FDOC to have Marvel redesign its outdated mascot, says FDOC spokesman David Steele in an interview with AdWeek.
