Altus has announced Etrian Odyssey V, though details are sparse on the next installment in the dungeon-crawler RPG series.
There is no release timeframe for Etrian Odyssey V, and Atlus hasn't revealed what platform the RPG will land on. However, all previous Etrian Odyssey installments have launched on Nintendo DS and 3DS. Shigeo Kimori is directing the newest franchise entry, with Yuzo Koshiro composing the title, which is only announced for Japan at this time.
In addition, Atlus unveiled a new collaboration title with Spike Chunsoft called Etrian Odyssey and Mystery Dungeon. The 3DS game will feature Etrian Odyssey characters in the rogue-like gameplay of the Mystery Dungeon series, according to Siliconera, similar to the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon titles. The mashup game is set to release in Japan on March 5.
